The Investment Map is a modified Relational Map. This map examines the structure of the investments (green links) in the network of the target node(s). You can assemble a network around whatever types of target nodes you choose (companies, investors, and people) and then see how everything in the combined network is connected in terms of investment activity. Some purple (management team) and red (board membership) links may still appear depending on the specifics of each map, but the overall network will be organized to help you focus on the investment relations.

Imagine that the Investment Map is like a "preset" on your radio. This is a quick way to examine a particular slice of the network that pertains to investment activity. You can still manipulate and apply filters to this map, but some of the work is already done for you. Using this map in conjunction with other map types (like People, Board, and Management) can help you quickly get an overview of different slices of the networks you create.
