The Company Map shows only the Company Nodes (boxes), and how they are connected by common affiliations with Investors and People (as Board Members and Management Team Members).

There are 3 different colors of links in Company Maps - Yellow, Orange, and Red. As you can see in the legend above, the colors indicate what the two linked Companies have in common - Investors or People. People in common can be either Board or Management Team members, but this can be controlled using the Person Filters if you are interested in manipulating the map to match your particular interests. Read the descriptions for the individual maps to see particular examples and unique ways to manipulate your networks.

The number of common affiliations (either Investors or People) necessary to constitute a link between two companies is set at 2 by default. This can be adjusted using the MinLink feature which is located on the taskbar.
