Filters: Former board included, Pendants dropped

This is the Board Map for the combined network of two investors - Aspen Ventures & Novus Ventures. You can see the Target Nodes in the network; they are the enlarged orange ovals with thick borders. This map shows the board interlock network between the active companies in the portfolios of these investors. The former board relationships are included, and the pendants have been dropped to allow you to focus on the core of this network.

In the center of this map are the three common investments between Aspen and Novus - Reasoning, ViewCentral, and StarVox Communications. It is interesting to note that the two board members nearby (David Crockett and Dan Tompkins) share two boards in common. On the other side of the map, Michael Jung also spans these two networks with a board position on each side. A potential next step would be to include the inactive companies and see what other relationships emerge in terms of board interlock stucture. As an aside, who doesn't think that David Crockett is a great name!
